Part VI: The Daughter I Once Knew
I felt I had no other choice. I did not trust her intentions. I was afraid that leaving her free might cause harm to other people...
When I look back now, I think I was more ashamed of myself for allowing this to happen, but I placed the blame on my Anne.
Anne was not the girl we once knew; she was not in control of her own body and mind and for that reason we had to lock her away.
The stranger that was once our beloved daughter lived out the rest of her days in the Tapestry Room until she died ten years later. For years, Anne was bounded to the grounds of the house.
I could feel her presence in every room. As time goes on, I cannot help but sense the darkness of a strange entity within my house.
Anne... is that you?
