This website was created as a final year Media Studies project in Maynooth University. 

 

Our aim was to create an interactive website that tells the story behind Loftus Hall using multimodal technologies. This project is strictly for entertainment purposes. The main objective was to adapt this famous Irish legend digitally; to appeal to a modern audience and put contemporary digital storytelling into practice.

This website was created during the Covid-19 pandemic when onsite visitation was not permitted. This further inspired us to create a website that acts as a substitute for hearing the story onsite.
